Holiday Special:The Serpentville Community

Every year for the holidays, all the snakes in Serpentville pitch in and help out with the community, turning their town into a magical Candy Cane Lane. Here are some shots from the project.

Merry Christmas (or whatever other holiday you celebrate) from all of us here in Serpentville!

Happy holidays from the Little Pythons!

Holiday Special:4

Little Python idea:The holidays are about giving and receiving, so this year we invite you to give back to your community, people or animals in need, or organizations you support. Remember to not donate money to Serpentville. We have free web hosting and other organizations have much more need for your money.

Little Python notice:NEVER give a snake or any other animal as a gift. Animals are not gifts. They are commitments and family members.

My Little Python:Be a good neighbor!

If you're going to the zoo, that's great! Many zoos provide great education and conservation opportunities. But here are some tips to be a good neighbor to the animals.

Don't stress the animals out by tapping on the glass, even if they have a cool threat display!
It might be really cool to see a rattlesnake rattle, but rattling means that the rattlesnake is seriously stressed out and has resorted to the tactics it uses before going into fight or flight. How would you like someone banging on the walls of your house to stress you out?

Obey all signs. If there's a path, stay on it.
This is more a matter of safety than anything else. Keep your distance! Even animals that look cuddly can feel threatened if a strange human's on their territory.

Don't feed the animals anything other than food intended for them.
Even if you can feed the animals, only feed them the zoo-provided food. Other foods like, say, your sandwich, can cause sickness or death in some animals.

The Past Revisited:Pythons at the Carnival

During this special series, we are going to showcase redrawings of some of our first comics or sequences that never were revisited.

Pythons at the Carnival was a story arc that failed because at the time, I couldn't figure out how to draw a snake on a roller coaster. But now that I know, I redrew it.

This video may not show correctly on all web browsers, more specifically if you are on mobile. You may have to view this on your main PC or download QuickTime or RealPlayer to view. This video was uploaded innately, meaning it is not hosted by YouTube. It is supposed to not have sound.
